AFSC, 65 Ninth St., San Francisco
UFPJ met at the SF Friends Meeting house at 65 9th St. at 5 pm on April 8. The agenda included planning for April 15 actions at the Glen Park and Balboa BART Stations. The actions will include display of a banner graphically depicting the disproportionate amount of the discretionary federal budget that is allocated to the Pentagon and the Iraq War.
The next UFPJ general meeting was set for Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 7 pm. The meeting will be held in the East Bay at a location to be determined.
